About Russell Dodd Landscapes

Russell Dodd has worked in horticulture for more than 25 years, starting within the family run garden centre where he ran the outdoor plant section, gaining a wealth of knowledge on plant varieties, habits, soil requirements and their botanical Latin names.

He has travelled across Europe buying plant material from nurseries in Holland, Belgium, Denmark & Italy, as well as visiting plant growers and nurseries in America.

Russell has exhibited for the past 15 years, creating show gardens that have won top horticultural awards, these include; 3 Large Gold Medals, 5 Gold Medals, Best in Show and Best Walk Through at the Holker Hall Garden Festival.

His extensive experience includes the design " construction of gardens of all sizes having landscaped well over 300 including; Traditional English, Modern & Contemporary, Oriental & Japanese, Mediterranean, Wildlife, Low Maintenance, and many more styles.

He is also currently studying garden design with the English Gardening School based at the Chelsea Physic Garden and is a member of the Royal Horticultural Society & the Horticultural Trades Association.
