Soft Landscaping
We use high quality seed grown weed turf for most of our lawn creations although some are still done by the traditional method of seeding if the area is very large. On most occasions we cover the existing soil in the garden with fresh screened top soil, by doing this we can produce a better finish to the lawn and make sure the new turf has a good, well prepared base to grown into.
We love building Rock Gardens and over the years have created many beautiful displays using a wide selection of stone to blend in with the surroundings which include locally sourced limestone and Lakeland slate.
Planting is done in a way to create colour and interest throughout the year, alpines and heathers are usually included and dwarf flowering shrubs are often used in medium & larger rockeries for impact and extra interest.
