Ponds and Water Features

At R.D. Landcapes, we absolutely love creating ponds and water features, and over the years we’ve had the pleasure of designing and building a wide variety of natural-looking streams, cascades, waterfalls and ornamental ponds for customers across the Furness area.

Some of the photographs shown below also feature our award-winning exhibits at the Holker Hall Countryside and Garden Festival, where we proudly achieved Gold Medal Awards and multiple Best Walk-Through Garden Awards. One of our most memorable achievements was receiving the prestigious Lady Cavendish Award for Best Walk-Through Garden, a moment of great honour for our team.

During the festival in 1996, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh visited our display and personally complimented us on the quality, craftmanship and creativity of our garden exhibit – a moment we still treasure today.

Lakeland Slate and Natural Limestone 

The photos above show examples of the ponds and water features we’ve created over the years, using beautiful Lakeland Slate and Natural Limestone to achieve a truly authentic, timeless appearance. Every stone is carefully placed to ensure the stream or cascade looks natural, blends into the surroundings and provides years of enjoyment. As you can see, the results look realistic.
